    Make an Appointment

Making an appointment is simple. Call (718) 747-9630, and one of our friendly team members will gladly assist you with booking an appointment or any questions you may have. We ask that you call our office 24 hours in advance if you cannot keep an appointment. We will attempt to reschedule an appointment as close to the initial or desired date as possible.

    What to Expect

Upon arrival, a team member will greet the patient and assist with the check-in process. For the initial visit, patients should be prepared to complete a health questionnaire and provide a copy of their insurance card and identification. On future visits, check-in typically involves confirming information at the front desk before meeting with the provider. The care team will review what each appointment will involve in advance to help patients prepare.

    Initial Examination

Most first-time visits last about one hour. During this time, the provider will discuss the patient’s health history, current symptoms, and wellness goals. Basic assessments, including vital signs and medical screenings, may be performed. Depending on the individual’s needs, further testing may be recommended. The provider will explain the next steps and outline a care plan that supports digestive health and overall well-being.

    Medical Insurance

Pinnacle Gastroenterology accepts many insurance plans and works with patients to simplify the billing process. Patients are encouraged to call (718) 747-9630 to confirm insurance acceptance and ask about any documentation needed for their first visit. The staff can also help patients navigate their benefits, understand what is covered, and explore options for minimizing out-of-pocket expenses.

Occasionally, the office may offer programs or discounts to help offset costs. Staff members are available to assist patients in learning about coverage, changing providers, and exploring programs that may reduce medical spending.
